A two-week space by the Adriatic to make things, explore, write, swim, and meet your current and future friends.
Let's go →Let's hang out for two weeks in a house on the island of Krk, and make it a place to do things and share. Bring your skills, your projects, your half-formed ideas, and anyone you want.
Learn from and learn with
Bring your own activity, this is flexible.
You're welcome to bring people, even send people if you are not coming. If you think they'd fit in, send them along. A friend of a friend is just a future friend, share this page with them.
Partners, friends, kids, all welcome (pets welcome too, but we might need to coordinate).
Come for the whole two weeks or just a few days, whatever suits.
There is a bridge, but also summertime so it gets busy.
Busses / trains / BlaBlaCar & prevozi (ridesharing) / ferry. Ask for more info.
trains only reach Rijeka (about 46 km away), then a bus or ride over to Krk; ferries come from Cres and Rab
Into Rijeka (it's on the island!!), or Pula, Trieste or Ljubljana, Zagreb, even Venice then read above again.
We'll eat together, cooking & cleaning shared.
There should be enough room for everyone, and the space offers different levels of privacy. There should be a few rooms to enable that and also various needs for silence/work/kids (potential sleeping tiers: I'll sleep anywhere / I'll sleep in tent in the garden / I'll happily share a room (mixed, same gender) / I'd need a private room).
I think a few of us need to do some work in between the weekends, and if that is the case, we can set up a work from home, or as the Italians say, a Smart Working station. We'll figure out wifi, a proper desk etc. WeWork lol
At the end of the day, Krk is a holiday island, so booking a nearby room is a possible backup.
Contributions toward food and lodging are always welcome, so if you can, chip in, if not, that's fine, just come.
Fill in the sheet so we know your dates, your sleeping needs, and what you can share (or just send me a message, that's fine too).
Share this page with anyone that might find it useful, and let me know if you have any questions.
